MCLEAN, VA, April 16, 2007—immixGroup, Inc., a leader in technology representation, channel programs and government contract management today announced that it has promoted Art Richer as president of immixGroup. Jeff Copeland, immixGroup's co-founder, remains the company's chief executive officer and chairman.
In his new position, Richer assumes full daily operational and P&L responsibility for immixGroup, including the company's $300 million technology representation business, its rapidly growing channel programs, and the government contract management services upon which the company was founded in 1997. In addition, Richer assumes full responsibility for corporate operations, marketing, and the company's newest offering, Adaptable Payment Solutions.

Richer is credited with building immixGroup's technology representation business ten years ago, which today represents the majority of immixGroup's business. His years of continuously demonstrating success have earned him increasing responsibility, becoming president of technology representation in 2005, senior vice president of immixGroup, Inc. in 2006 and ultimately to president of the entire company today. He is most recently credited with immixGroup's award of the NASA SEWP IV government wide acquisition contract in March, 2007.
An accomplished sales and business development executive who has spent nearly 20 years selling information technology products and services within the government sector, Richer has extensive experience working with technology manufacturers of all sizes, including very large and established companies like IBM and Symantec, as well as numerous high growth and emerging technology firms. Armed with strong government sales and business development experience, he has helped numerous technology companies grow their government businesses through cohesive sales, channel, marketing, and business development strategies and the effective execution thereof.
Richer's appointment is effective immediately, reporting to Jeff Copeland. Along with Copeland and co-founder/EVP Steve Charles, Richer holds a seat on immixGroup's Board of Directors.
