  • immixGroup Hires Carey Bandler to Lead IT Solutions Division's Business Development Team

Experienced Industry Leader to Focus on Growing Digital Forensics, Information Management Services Business

MCLEAN, VA, March 24, 2010—immixGroup, Inc. announced today it has hired Carey Bandler as the Business Development Manager for its IT Solutions Division. The division provides information technology (IT) planning, execution, and support services to public sector and commercial customers in the areas of digital forensics and information assurance, information management, and project management.

In this new role, Bandler is focusing his efforts on expanding the IT Solutions Division’s business development infrastructure and leveraging its extensive digital forensics and software development capabilities in order to grow its government and commercial client base. “I’m thrilled to join immixGroup,” Bandler said, “and I look forward to capitalizing on its reputation as a responsive and flexible company with extensive forensic and proprietary software development capabilities to help it continue on an aggressive growth path.”

Bandler brings more than 15 years of technical, project management, and business development experience to immixGroup, most recently with BAE Systems, Inc. His work with defense and civilian agencies, as well as domestic and international commercial entities, encompasses the complete breadth and lifecycle of IT, CyberSecurity, and Telecommunications Business Management. He has facilitated classified sessions for the Joint Task Force – Global Network Operations (JTF-GNO) and the Army Global Network Operations and Security Center (A-GNOSC) – two major efforts to bring industry into these DoD operations to discuss challenges and solutions on pressing cyber issues.

In addition to his extensive work experience, Bandler plays a variety of roles on behalf of several prominent industry associations. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors and on numerous committees for AFCEA, for which he chaired a track of three panels on Assured Information Access at an AFCEA Information Assurance Solutions event. He also is a founding member of the American Small Business Coalition and a founding chairperson of the Wireless Subcommittee, Networks, and Telecommunications Shared Interest Group of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC). Currently, he serves as co-chairman of the Washington Breakfast Club, a monthly information exchange facilitated by The American Small Business Coalition for industry participants, legislators, agency executives, and officials from all branches of the federal government.

“We’re excited to add Carey to the IT Solutions Division’s team in this vital leadership role,” said Phill Magaro, vice president of immixGroup’s IT Solutions Division. “His experience as a program and project manager, as well as his proven track record of success for sales and capture of complex IT service opportunities, will serve immixGroup and our partners well as we look to grow our business within our core capability areas of digital forensics, information management, and program management.”
