McLean, VA, February 21, 2012—immixGroup, Inc., which helps technology companies do business with the government, announced today it has received an expanded ISO 9001:2008 certification for its core business processes as well as the channel management processes of its subsidiary EC America, Inc. immixTechnology, a subsidiary of immixGroup, Inc. has been ISO certified since 2008.
immixGroup is certified to the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2008 without design and complies with a strict, proprietary quality management system. ISO 9001:2008 specifies the basic requirements for a quality management system (QMS) that an organization must fulfill to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that enhance customer satisfaction and meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
As part of its original ISO certification, immixGroup developed a Quality Management System consisting of a set of policies, processes, and procedures used in the pursuit of the company's core business: facilitating sales between technology companies and government buyers by managing the procurement process and establishing contract vehicles for federal, state, and local government customers.
The Quality Management System provides the mechanism through which immixGroup measures, controls, and improves its business processes, which include:
- Price list management for various government contract vehicles
- Quoting to the government on behalf of the technology companies it represents
- Processing purchase orders from government customers and delivering purchase orders to its technology clients
- Creating invoices for government customers for goods delivered by its clients
- Paying its clients because they delivered the requested goods to customers
- Confirming customer satisfaction with the procurement process
- Boarding of partners and point of sale reporting
