David Holtzman explains in a visionary voice how technological advances have real-world implications for the way we live. A former cryptographic analyst, Russian linguist and submariner with the U.S. Naval Security Group, Holtzman also worked at the Defense Special Missile and Astronautics Center as an intelligence analyst, focusing chiefly on the Soviet Manned Space program. As Chief Scientist at IBM's Internet Information Technology group, Holtzman managed the development of IBM's information product and service offering to encrypt and sell digitized content across the Internet. He has also served as a senior analyst for Booz-Allen & Hamilton for several years, where he ran technology-driven restructuring initiatives for Wall Street firms and large financial institutions. His essays have been published in Business Week, Wired magazine, CNET, and ZDnet, and he is a regular contributor to Chief Security Officer (CSO) Magazine.

Paul Henry is one of the worlds foremost global information security experts, with more than 20 years of experience managing security initiatives for Global 2000 enterprises and government organizations worldwide. Paul frequently serves as a featured and keynote speaker at network security seminars and conferences worldwide, presenting white papers on diverse topics, including DDoS attack risk mitigation, firewall architectures, intrusion methodology, enterprise security and managed security services. Paul also serves as an expert commentator for a variety of media outlets, including NBC Nightly News, CNBC-Asia, Power Magazine, Secure Computing Magazine, ISA Publication Industrial Computing, the Miami Herald, San Francisco Chronicle and many others.

Paul is the author of the firewalls chapter in the Information Security Management Handbook, Fourth Edition, Volume 4. In addition to his CISSP certification, Henry holds many other security certifications such as MCP+I, MCSE, CCSA, CCSE, CFSA, CFSO, CISM, CISA, ISSAP and CIFI.
