DISA's Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) employs approximately 300 contracting personnel who establish and administer DoD contracts valued at more than $3.0 billion in financial transactions annually. The organization faced increasing challenges with aging systems, limited functionality, and reduced visibility, resulting in incomplete reporting and planning into their acquisition processes. To improve acquisition performance, DISA partnered with Appian to implement an Appian based Acquisition solution.
