MCLEAN, VA, August 26, 2004 - immixGroup today announced that it has become an agent under the Sword & Shield Enterprise Security, Inc. NASA SEWP III (Scientific, Engineering and Workstation Procurement) government-wide contract.
Through its partnership with NASA SEWP III prime contractor, Sword & Shield, immixGroup will be able to provide all government agencies with easy access to its portfolio of leading enterprise technology solutions. Enterprise technology vendors partnered with immixGroup will be able to sell their products and related services on the NASA SEWP III contract through immixGroup.

"SEWP III is the preferred contract vehicle for many government agencies due to its low surcharges and fast and easy ordering procedures."
SEWP III is a pre-competed contract with the lowest surcharge of any major GWAC (Government Wide Acquisition Contract). The surcharge is 0.6% for non-NASA customers with no surcharge for orders under $2,500 and a maximum surcharge of $7,500.
Sword & Shield Enterprise Security was one of eight small businesses selected to participate in NASA's government-wide acquisition SEWP III (Scientific and Engineering Workstation Procurement) contract for network security products. Federal purchasing agents may acquire a wide range of information security products and services from Sword & Shield on a competitively awarded contract similar to the general services administration (GSA) schedule.
