Azul develops runtime platforms for executing Java-based applications, and DoD ESI has established a catalog for the purchase of its products through immixTechnology, Inc., and the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) Agency, which is a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) managed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This agreement is available to all of the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, and the Intelligence Community.

Zulu is Azul’s family of certified, open source builds of OpenJDK with a variety of flexible federal support options, available in configurations for ISVs, enterprises, and on-premise or Cloud deployments, as well as custom and embedded/IoT devices.
