MCLEAN, VA, Thursday, November 14, 2013–immixGroup, Inc., which helps technology companies do business with the government, announced today that the company was named a winner of Washington SmartCEO’s 2013 GOVstar Award.  The company was recognized for its tremendous growth by winning the “Star Performer Large” category.

The GOVstar program, now in its fourth year of operation, honors government contracting firms for their technology innovation, workplace environment, growth, veteran support, and contributions to the industry and marketplace. In determining the finalists, the GOVstar committee sought to identify companies that served as industry leaders. The CEO nominees were evaluated based on their industry, community, and marketplace contributions. An independent panel of business leaders selected the 45 GOVstar award finalists and 15 winners based on applications submitted.

The Star Performer category is awarded to the government contractor that has experienced tremendous growth through mergers and acquisitions and organic expansion. Finalists were judged based on their three-year growth pattern, strategic approaches, and plans for future growth.
