McLean, Va, Wednesday, August 26, 2015–immixGroup, Inc. announced today that Walter Isaacson will deliver the keynote address at the 2nd Annual Government IT Sales Summit on Thursday, November 19, in Reston, Virginia. immixGroup, an Arrow company, helps technology companies do business with the government.

Isaacson is a best-selling author, former editor of TIME magazine, and former CEO of CNN. He will discuss the greatest IT innovators of our time in his keynote address, What Causes Innovation, and share highlights from his New York Times best-selling book, The Innovators: How a Group of Inventors, Hackers, Geniuses, and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution.

Mr. Isaacson joined TIME in 1978 and served as a political correspondent, national editor, and editor of new media before becoming the magazine’s 14th editor in 1996. He became chairman and CEO of CNN in 2001 and then began his current role as president and CEO of the Aspen Institute in 2003. He is the author of Steve Jobs (2011), Einstein: His Life and Universe (2007), Benjamin Franklin: An American Life (2003), and Kissinger: A Biography (1992), and co-author of The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made (1986).

Isaacson’s keynote is one of 19 sessions throughout the one-day Summit, which will provide actionable information on the public sector IT market from leading government and industry experts. This year’s theme of Navigating the New Normal addresses government budget uncertainties, evolving technology requirements, and new acquisition models to help solution providers, systems integrators, and IT manufacturers grow their public sector sales.
